Wow! Just realized now that I actually bet Brighton to beat Villa, but paired it with Spurs to draw :headbanger: Anyhow, another bet was for Spurs to win and Liverpool vs Leicester to draw... Let’s see how that turns out

This fixture congestion anomaly has been going on for as long as I can remember live TV broadcasts dictating. So, while I’m inclined to agree that teams playing Euro games are at a disadvantage, there is also the advantage they have of competing more frequently, and having the budgets for bigger squads. Therefore, if the teams playing in Europe better managed their spend then they could be doing well... Anyway, I’m just glad that Mourinho complained when he did, and since no other manager was backing him a month ago he can now sit back and listen to their collective moaning! I’m just glad that Spurs went the route of a bigger, more competitive squad this season. Unlike previous seasons where the reliance was on the core of the squad being overplayed.

Holding thumbs for City to check me through for you, although I would prefer a draw Hard luck for the bet, but I’m sure there is some consolation when looking at the top 4 standings after this weekends round - even if there is a winner in the next game

This is all because professional soccer is about power, control and money! Damn, how wonderful it was when “the beautiful game” was about competing and entertainment... :fencelook:

Great result for Saints, but I’m sure the squeaky-bum was a bit unnerving... PS. Spurs supporters know it!

I hope I’m not the only one watching Spurs (1-5) put the fire out for the Red Devils.... COYS [emoji1434] Well played Jose Mourinho and Spurs... I wonder if Spurs can continue like this once they start playing one game per week again, or should they be forced to play 3-4 games per week, lol First time in the history of the Premier League that ManU have conceded 4 goals in the first half at Old Trafford.

It’s also Everton’s best start to a season for over 100 years. And James Rodriguez has fitted in perfectly. Good luck to them

Everton are really looking like a team on fire! I was so hoping that Spurs would have made an approach for Moise Kean... Anyway, I’m very happy for Ancelotti

Yeah, this is an interesting one to watch. Although, it’s sometimes very difficult for clubs to remain competitive, the rules are the rules!
