Go, Go, Go... Atalanta...!! (10mins to go) Hard luck, and good effort by the Serie A newbies of Atalanta for making a game of it. Welcome to the Champions League. Well done PSG (Phew!) Great fighback and wonderful display of experience at this level. 1 down, 2 to go...

And it’s very often the case that Sevilla are overlooked as contenders to win the Europa League

My grandson was extremely disappointed to find out that Ronaldinho has retired from professional football. One of his favorite players in PlayStation. An extremely talented player. How could he forego the extreme partying.... a la Diego Maradona at Lazio!
  6. I doubt it’s as drastic as that. The ILS is static equipment for the most part, although re-calibration is required for a number of reasons that will results minuscule changes, at most. It is mostly a confirmation exercise.

I suppose it does come with the package though... Now in hindsight, would Sarri have been better off staying at Chelski... :just saying:

This deal has been negotiated extensively in the past 2 weeks - seems like it took forever. Since first reported around May this year. Saints will buy Kyle Walker Peters, who has been on loan from Spurs. Hojbjerg is seen as the midfield anchor that Mourinho and Spurs have been missing since selling Moussa Dembele in Jan last year.

It was previously reported - at the time it was announced he was leaving City - that he wanted to move back to Spain, to be with his family... But then again, anything is possible in football... [emoji2955]

I’m not sure how to read the drama at Inter, with Conte’s recent ranting. I mean, he still has Euro League to challenge for, and it’s not exactly a disgrace to finish 2nd - by a single point - to Juventus. Although, Inter should have reason to be disappointed in their own performance. I’m thinking that Potch will end up in another mid-table EPL or LaLiga Project....

I can’t see this happening. IMHO I think that Potch’s profile has been overrated, and I admitted the same during his time at Spurs. He was good for the club at the time, and he was rewarded with some degree of success, but not as a world beater that the press are portraying. I still have a soft spot for the guy, and I wish him every success, wherever he goes.

Fair comment. But have you actually watched a season of Serie A? The football is really top class stuff. So, what is exciting about a team winning the EPL by 19 points and 6 matches to play vs A team winning Serie A by a single point on the penultimate or final match day? I know which I assume is more competitive... I’d suggest some consideration should also be given to the number of points dropped by the winning teams - Juve battled with consistency this season. ‘Pool... meh, they made it look too easy.

Congratulations to Fulham FC on winning playoffs and promotion to EPL... Another London club bringing more Derby Days  Hard luck to Brentford having got sooooo close to promotion #keepgoing

Who would have bet Juve to win Serie A by just one point...?? I certainly didn’t see that coming, and so much for those who think Serie A lacks excitement and competitive edge...

I can’t believe Cheatski actually went and bottled that game... :sigh: So now Spurs will go into 3rd Round Qualifiers for Europa League, and Wolves will have to win this seasons Europa League to qualify for Europe

Frankly, I’d have chosen Bournemouth over Villa to stay up. But apparently, that’s not how it works... Eddie Howe comes across as a fantastic person and coach, good luck to him

Was it Aberdeen? I seem to recall Aberdeen having a pretty good run about that time... And not sure if it was Alex Ferguson as manager, but I can’t recall any other names... Off to Google I go... Lol

Let’s not forget that City took this case ruling to CAS on appeal of their 2year. So, should we expect UEFA to appeal the CAS ruling then? Pffffttttt....!! Anyway, this is also very likely the end of FFP rules as we know it.

Can you actually believe such frivolous reasoning for the overturn? If ever there was a time to believe that football is rigged, now is it! From having such a comprehensive case against City, now there not enough evidence... Really!!!! Oh well, I suppose the COVID-19 break gave much consideration about the repercussions of banning City, since it’s not as though they are going to win the 2020 Champions League...
