I’m agree that Atalanta are playing really well, whoever the opponent. As much as Lazio have don’t well up to the point where the games were halted, Atalanta have continued playing attractive and picking up points. It’s gonna be exciting to watch that 2nd position battle

Let’s see how PSG perform in their next tie against Atalanta first... The QF stage of CL is not necessarily a walk in the park - strange things happen, and Atalanta shouldn’t be dismissed just because it’s their first appearance in the CL But yeah, the other half of the draw is really rough

Agreed... And compare the Juve route with that of Atalanta... Makes for some exciting games ahead

I so wanted Mourinho to succeed at Spurs... And then he brings the “real” Jose Mourinho aka the ManU One!! Spurs supporters have not been this unhappy, for longer than the last time the club lifted a trophy! Now isn’t that a stat to behold...! :roll eyes:

Not true. Poch’s contract ended at end-June 2020 I’d still have Poch back at the club right now... hindsight being the perfect science....

I know... “Clear and obvious” has been the biggest parts of debate and mis/interpretation in VAR since its inception! What a farce!!

As for Jose Mourinho: The Special One has taken a decent side and made them less than mediocre - much like magic does... “poof!” I’ll sponsor his ticket out of Tottenham, if Daniel Levy can terminate his contract!

While the results show that ManU are looking to be the real deal, I have to wonder how true this is given the spate of poor VAR decisions that have actually been in their favour.... :fencelook:

Aaaaahhh man.... You have no idea how much I would rather have Under Armor kits again instead of the cr-ap that Nike reproduces!!!! I like...

I’m disappointed for all three in the relegation zone for different reasons... Villa - because they are a big team, with huge support and a great history. I remember watching them win the European Cup Final when Peter White scores (I think it was ‘81)... Bournemouth - because I like what Eddie Howe has done there, and they actually play quite a good game... Norwich - because, similar to Bournemouth, they play quite a good game. And they have had performances of great character with great results. It’s a pity that those were too few and far between...

Absolutely correct... It’s one of those performances where the Milan showed up all of a sudden! Crazy actually... And this Zlatan is just something else ... Fortunately this result doesn’t harm the league position of Juve, but is a cause for concern

I feel that Mourinho’s problems stem from him focusing too much on the media... It was Potchettino’s undoing as well

I’m very happy for The Saints for pulling off that result last night  The are a number of players who deserve recognition in that team, besides Ings, Ward-Prowse, etc and *Kyle Walker-Peters* Lol... I’m very happy to see Walker-Peters getting as much game time as he is, because he should really have been getting some better opportunities than he did at Spurs - He is an England U20 World Cup Winner, after all... And then I’m also pleased that the whole Saints squad seems to be believing in Ralph’s methods and showing how industrious a committed team effort can perform... Now I’m hoping that Mourinho has been taking notes. Otherwise Daniel Levy might go tapping up some talent at The Saints... Lol

Looking at the current form Milan are in, then Tuesday is going to be a cracking good match v Juve... Roll on Champions League 19/20  I see Old Buffon can’t get enough records hey... :TIC:

Phew! I’m wondering if the VAR have forgotten where they left off before lockdown. VAR decisions have been pretty inconsistent since the restart. Nevertheless, the boys have it all to do in the 2nd half

Since the winner of Europa League automatically qualifies for Champions League, EUFA have revised qualifiers from EPL. Both cup winners in EPL now qualify for Europa League, therefore only 1 league place qualifies

I somehow get the vibe that Mourinho is hoping for the best. I think we will do very well to even get the Europa League spot, but it’s difficult now that only 5th/6th place qualifies. Maybe being out of Europe next season can be a blessing for Mourinho’s ambitions of starting the season with all clubs on zero points... BTW Pochettino signed a new contract early this week... Maurizio, that is... Mauricio’s 19y/o son LOL

Well, well... Don’t West Ham just know how to upset the Apple cart... A 3-2 victory against Cheatski at London Stadium has got to be priceless at this time. OGS and ManU must be lock-in’ their chops... I can’t believe it, that The Hammers had a goal ruled out early on as well

Looks like Bayern Munich have pulled a real bargain this time, by getting Leroy Sane for only £55m. Noting that he almost joined them for £130m a year ago, and had been with an injury for 10 months...

Let’s also consider that some of those big names didn’t get as much playing time, due to injury, rotation or whatever.... But I still rate Ings very highly.

Agree that is awesome for Southampton, but maybe that’s where his game is best suited... Some players find it difficult to adapt styles of play. It may be a blessing in disguise
