The teeth of the kalbo chairing are definitely longer than those of the RaceFace, that might have something to do with it. The chain seems to fit into the profile of the Kalbo chairing very nicely. Sent from my Nokia 6310i
On my stumpy with the kalbo chairing and normal sram x9 rear derailleur, I haven't had a single dropped chain in 400kms of riding. On the patrol I have a RaceFace nw and sram gx rear derailleur. Had 1 chain drop while going down a long flight of stairs the other day during an urban outing. Sent from my Nokia 6310i
I'm riding chromag scarabs on one of my bikes and giant flats in the other. The chromags definitely have a better feel and the slim design helps to reduce pedal strikes. That being said, I do think the giant flats are great value for money and are certainly far from the worst you could buy for that money. Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
What's your weight btw, I weigh 105kg and nofearnofun also over 100. Just wondering if weight doesn't have anything to do with it. You running quite low pressure there at ~1.25bar, I'm currently running 1.6bar / 23psi up front
