Missed the game dammit but must say that since DSTV started airing Serie A matches the La Liga commentary has gone to ****. Seems like they got the B package for La Liga to compensate for the costs of Serie A. Anyone else noticed the same?

The Goerdies had me jumping about at midnight last night. Game was delayed by 30 mins but we left with three valuable points and at times played some really decent footie despite being away from home and lacking first choice players. Rode our luck towards the end. Rafa was tactically spot. Three wins in a row has done wonders for my nerves????

We had a baby shower for the missus on Saturday so I taped the Newcastle v Bournemouth game and the Boks game. Watched them back to back with a couple of single malts....needless to say I missed my Sunday morning ride????

As for City..they are just a joy to watch..Marhrez makes me smile each time he touches the ball. A bit off form today but what a replacement in Sane.

Fellaini ofcourse...its always his fault despite the fact that he was one player that did his job on the day. Why they persist with Mourinho is beyond me even though it gives me great delight. How he is unable to get the best out of Pogba and Lukaku is incredible. He seems to struggle with really talented players who need to be given the freedom to express themselves instead of being forced into a negative system. But long may it continue I say.

Love the new route and despite a mechanical at around 80km which resulted in getting dropped I enjoyed it out there. Minimal wind too! Great organization. Big thank you to the marshalls.... seriously some guys were out there in the heat of day to keep everyone safe. I dont think ASG will like this thread ????

Looks like a fairly decent day out weather wise. 16deg at 7am and 14kph wind...... After Amashova wind I am looking for the East Rand to surprise in a good way.

He won't be there if they dont sell the club this season. Ashley has loads of cash so he can sit back and get free advertising for as long as he wants without putting a penny back into the club and supporters can protest until the cows come home. I should look forward to seeing Neil Warnock or some other fossil in the dug out next year????

Yep. This Japanese striker they have looks like a good buy and I hope they stick with him as the other options are frankly dire. No pace at all and thereby negating the skills of Shelvey to pop one over the top with pin point accuracy. I think they will survive by the skin of their teeth but its going to be a rollercoaster ride to May 2019.

Entered. Hassle free as well using my mobile and got email confirmation. In prior years your initial entry was preliminary with the final confirmation around Feb the following year. Is this still the case or is the email I received today final confirmation?

Back in SA next week so I will catch up on the games. Just watched some BBC news and City look menacing as do Liverpool. I have been a Geordie for nigh on 20 years now. Rough ride with the multiple relegations but I believe we have an excellent chance of sticking around in the league if we keep Rafa. If he leaves things will go tits up. From what I hear we gave a good account of ourselves on opening day and were perhaps unlucky not to get a point. I do worry though that there were loads of teams making significant investment while we counted the pennies falling out of Ashley pocket. Not that buying new players is a sure sign of a good season but we needed quality and quantity through the door. I think we got some quality, just not enough of it. Howay the lads!
