What bout XO1? That's also 1 x 11 and looks just as porn as XX1 for a wee bit less. Drivers to run the big flywheel cluster is available for more wheelsets than you have mentioned. You get drivers for most wheels and even for the cheap as chips Novatec hubs.

Initial purchase will probably cost an arm and a leg and possibly a kidney as well but yes in the long run I reckon running costs would be quite reasonable. Dunno what the weight weenies would say though

Nope its integrated . If it had cups it would have been semi integrated. The FSA headset you tried to use was for semi integrated as it came with cups for the bearings to run in. See the two pics below. One comes with cups and the other not. Soon as the "cups" are part of the frame its integrated.
