The only way to build up street cred as you call it is to participate in the forums. Interact with the "community". No use lurking in the background.... Maybe the noobs that been registered for a while with no posts should be called lurkers hahaha. Anyway as most have said be oopkop when buying and selling as even ultimate hubbers as per another thread can turn out to be a skelm. anyway just my 2cents.

  16. cut a piece of the aero at the back away and file the top piece where the post go in round so it can take a normal clamp. Just a quick drawing but dunno if it will make sence. Top view and side view. maybe a *** idea but easiest and cheapest for sure.

  21. I have two bags full of cycling clothing I don't use anymore. Spandex only stretch so far you know PM me your address and ill happily donate that to the cause. Im moving soon so have to start sorting out the garage as well and ill see what there is parts wise that I can donate as well.

  23. Just do it! You know you want to You can never spend too much on a bike no matter if its geared, singlespeed, suspended or rigid. But yeah only you can decide if you want to build it or not. I personally ride a steel rigid singlespeed and I love every minute on it. I love the simplicity and cheap as chips maintenance. And who cares what I spend on it, its mine at the end of the day and it provides me with endless hours of pleasure. :clap:
