hey Ruib ive done it, not a very hard race mostly district dirt roads, the last 5km has some really nice singletrack, not too bad but not a race you want to do more than once IMO

he mentioned on tv that it was brake fade so it wasnt a sudden lose of brakes

well its the suikebosrand race or the dirtmax race in parys on sunday and well how can i put this nicely?? i would rather go for a training ride on sunday

its it bit out of my way for a short race like this, looking for a mtb race to do the weekend

if you going Alu you cant beat Cannondale IMO

congrats on your first tri Robrider you choose a good race to start off with lol usually you try to start off with an easy race and "literally" drop yourself in the deepend

man o man was that a interesting race! at some points it felt like i was doing a speedway race... never knew you could get a bicycle sideways like that! it was a mudfest of note. but like you guys said, it was a well organised, entertaining and one to remember. there is something missing when you get home from a offroad triathlon and your trisuit and bike are still clean

hahahha i like the term you use "chicked" theoretically it would be a couple of more minutes to be overtaken due to the time gap between the elite men and women but ja on paper she was right on his tail!

i believe the entries arent looking that great so lets hope it picks up! all the other races where a great success so i dont understand it?

no doubt that if there is someone that can give the men a go it would be her but it would be interesting to see what the mens times was when she put up her world record.. if i recall correctly she broke the world record after starting with triathlons like a year earlier

have any of you guys using eggbeaters experienced any creaking noises? i had a very muddy ride on sunday, got home and cleaned and lubed my bike and when i went out on monday i had this creaking/knocking sound i first thought that it was my BB again (replaced BB about a month ago) but it seems to be the pedals because if i move my heel outwards as to unclip and then pedal the noise goes away if it is the pedals what can i do to correct it? do you oil your eggbeaters?
