im assuming that all the people that got scammed paid for the same set of wheels and groupset? this really sucks guys sorry to hear about this!! one good thing is if there is a result in terms of catching this chap and maybe he gets locked up, that alone should serve as a deterant for future scammers! put this thread up as a sticky in the classified section so scammers can see how the hubbers stick up for each other and help out wherever possible to catch people like this

i quiet like that the xlab has a little intigrated saddle bag,the ravx one im using also has a saddle bag but the cages are too far from the back of the saddle so you got to stretch to get your bottles out

i saw them on his site the otherday! gonna get myself one they look like the business!!

Garfield ironman 70.3 is the 23 Jan this race is the 29th so you dont have to worry about having a laydown its difficult to say how technical a route is becasue it depends on what you see as technical! what i think is technical might be a walk in the park for you but im sure you wont need a downhill bike to finish the route

Garfield xterra is always damn tough!! be assured that it will be technical and the run will be very tough too

Obree sorry im not sure i understand what you mean! are you saying that you should be wearing them permanently outside of training/racing? i have read several articles about compression gear and till recently there has only been scientfic proof that it aids recovery with no proof that it helps during training/racing, however, i read an article in the mens health recently that showed the results from a study done at a university in germany that showed that athletes, on average they improved their running endurance by 16% because of the notion that because muscles are kept more compact, balance and proprioception are improved and muscle fatigue is minimized. i ran with mine last night and cant say that i felt a difference, but because of all the positive studies about the benefit of recovery i would like to know how long one should wear them to get maximum benefit

i would agree if you had a late exercise but what about a race in the morning?

i was thinking last night that there has been alot said about the value of compression gear in aiding recovery but nowhere have i seen that it has been mentioned how long you should wear them after exercise..... any ideas?

wasnt the theory that you should cool down after exercise to flush the lactic acid out your muscles or else the lactic acid casues stiffness and pain the following day?

Kevin your cleats should be in the middle of the balls of your feet but to get that spot on is difficult. i would suggest getting hold of someone that can do a proper bike setup for wich includes your cleats, if you happy with your setup you can still have just your cleats setup corrctly... i think they charge about R150, Richard Baxter at cyclefit will be able to sort you out
