Eish.. How can I have a crappier stating time than what I had last year? This year they put me in HH... How is that possible? I guess thats in the unseeded group. My current seeding rating is 36, so don't understand why I am stating this late.... Eish.. TRAFFIC !!! KEEP LEFT.. all that again... What time did one need to get to be in the single letter groups?

Ja, I am concerned about the way that seeding was done.... I mean Yes I started at the back of the seeded groups.. (WW), but was freaking supprised when I seen guys in groups that started ahead of me was pushing their bikes up hospital bend? Come-on now.. how could they have had a better seeding than me (okay.. only my 94.7 race counted as my seeding, and that one I done slow so I understand why I was at the back of the seeded group).. but guys pushing their bikes up hospital bend should NEVER have been in the seeded bunches.. they should have started on the Ox groups... Was not impressed with the end either.... that we had to stop on the sand... that we had to walk so far to the bike park.. then had to walk so far to the beer tents.. But with all that said.. I will do it again.. I think its one of the nicest rides I have ever done ... Nothing in JHB area can compare to the views one gets on the argus.. I think next year I will just be doing this ride, stop at every water point, and just enjoy the views.. and this time I will take my Camera with.. I almost kicked myself for forgeting that at home (lucky my shoes was clipped in, cause it was a bit difficult to do that kick)

I started in YY, Wore mine... seen at least about +50 other ppl with theres on as well (from black hair elastic bands, to cloths tired around their arms, Installation tape, to that black velcro that one normally use to put around your leg to keep your racetec chip).. But I do agree, there could have been more..

Friday - Going on a deapsea fishing trip (Not sure if I should cause I don't wanna use to much energy, but hey my brother just bought a boat, so I guess I will have to) Saturday - Going to expo, meeting up with some old buddies (EATING ALOT of CARBS) Sunday - Race.. then chilling the rest of the day at the clubs tent (I hear there is free booze there!!, so might spend whole afternoon there) Monday - Going again for some rock fishing for Yellowtail (need to get some for easter) ... Then leaving monday might back here to JHB As you can see, its all about the fishing man.. thats what I miss up here...

Henry has not put guys lives in danger by riding with a makeshift cycling shirt.. whereas with this .. Eish.. do I have words. I do believe that this is a rear wheel drive car.. Do you know how difficult it would be to control it? If we accept this, then what type of society would we be.. cause then we might as well accept murder (if it was done in a genius way), or bank robbery (if the guys maybe done it via an excellent fraud scam).... What this guy has done is downright illegal and this car should not be on the road at all

Hey I was also stopped in Boksburg to allow those cars through.. Did not like it cause that was just before a hill so lost momentum and was in the freaking wrong gear when I had to start up again... Potholes was a killer.. but cause the race was about a few KM longer than what I expected, I burnt most of my energy at about the 96km - 99km distance.. only then did I see that "ball" infront of emperors in a distance.. thats when I knew I was F***ed... really struggled up that last hill... But is all good, I will learn for next time.. Don't TRUST THE ORGANISERS WITH REGARDS TO DISTANCE (i.e distance to potholes and distance to finish) .. they lie.. *** Just Joking *** The whole water at the "water points" was a bit of a disapointment cause I don't drink coke or poweraid either... But loved the race never the less....

Noticed that they took my seeding from my 94.7 ride ONLY (Evince though my seeding on cyclelab's seeding site is better as it calculated Bakewena as well) ... And I done so badly in 94.7 thats why I am in that last group GL... But seeming like there is quite a bit of ppl in that group when I went to fetch my number... Good luck for Sunday.. What times can we expect from the winners?

I have a buddy that investigates things like this.. All he needs to start his investigation is a copy of the front and the back on your credit card... he then puts a trend analysis on your account and then can track where your money went.. LOL... Ja that is what some dude told me when my CC was cloned..

I am looking at all these stolen bikes and its quite sad.. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I mean I don't evince have an expensive bike, but I know if mine get stolen, I will cry. So, I was thinking now, with my dogs, I injected them with the identi-pet chips, so if they get lost and someone finds them, they can be easy identified. Do you think that something like that will work for bikes... Somewhere in the bike frame a chip is planted so that if your bike turns up at a police station, it is easy to identify who it belongs too.. Won't help with the stealing though... but maybe if one can implant a "tracking" device in the bike that could work.. just not sure where one would hid it and where it would get power from

I am a pure beginner... don't know a crank from a cassette, or 9 speed vs 10 speed.. Anyway, so I wanna get into cycling, but got a small budget only.... very very small.. So I bought a Scott speedster S1 (the one with the silver frame) Frame and crank Only !, but it has been taking me a few months to try and understand whats what, so I have not done anything to the frame.. So with a budget of R2500, do you guys believe I should by an entery level bike (if I can get one for so cheap), or should I take this frame to a shop and ask them to build it up for me for R2500... Is it possible to get a bike for R2500? and does anyone know of any shops in the gauteng area that could build my frame for R2500...
