yup thats what he said. the bike he said was R80000 full carbon so i think you are spot on hell he said the foldable tyre is so big and bulky to carry guess when you are using this bike you are a pro and dont need to carry your own tyres. Thanks so much for the advice follow up to that i have just got a set of XT wheels i am builing up which are ust does that mean i gota carry a spare tyre or does the valve unscreew

Hey all quick Q a friend got a fnacy bike with tubless tires, Time bike tubbies. He has never had tubless and said he is worried that if he gets a punctures he is screwed unless he carries a spare tyre. I heard you stll can you a tube if you get stuck but what happens to the valve?(attached)

Guys before i buy the wrong thing please advice me. Curent setup: Alex rims with avid rotors,160 at back 180 in front (6 bolt) with juicy seven brakes (non tubless) new setup: just got new shim XT wheels, XT casette. Next purchase is rotors Q is do i have to buy avid rotors (need centre lock now) and also do i have to keep the same 160 back 180 front what rotors also being slightly weight weenie should i go for??????????
