Anybody done the MTB and road? I did it this year and found that i was still feeling strong on the road, actually i think it helped to do the mtb the previous weekend.

Also for peoples legs who is not the same length. A friend of mine was in an accident and as a result his one leg is slightly shorter than the other. Different crank lenghts help solve this problem... My 5 cents..

Great race/fun ride for thousands. Many guys and gals will only do this race all yearand many more are inspired to go out and buy a bike and ride for fun/fitness/competition.... whatever, the point is that its not always what you can get out of it. Had a lekke ride today in Stellenbosch, completing the 30km 'Die Burger bergfiets Uitdaging' well organized and well marshaled, BUT just a couple of questions? <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> With all the experience of the race organizers should they not have foreseen potential problems with finishing the 15km and 30km racers on the same route at the same time with many hundreds of meters single track? (Hence part of the reason for the other topic here 'Rude Cyclists') Tuesdays PPA Newsletter stated and i quote "ROUTE AND EVENT INFORMATION - The 15km is perfect for families / beginners and includes moderate climbs and descents." I passed not one, not two but many parents with really young todds partaking in the 15km race, and listening to some of them crying, screaming and some just refusing to move another inch it was unavoidable to think that this is not 'fun' for them at all! Don't you think race organizers should put an age limit on the 'Family Fun rides' ? Parents please think about your kids first or in years to come you will be riding alone!

For all the chops that do get caught, maybe the 'fine' was also illegal. a camera directly after a speed indicator board is not legal, check all fines before you pay.

I agree with all said, if you don't have interest in the item please move on without leaving a comment unless it is positive. BUT - the seller must then be honest and realistic in what he/she wants to put up for sale in this public space. If i can get the item at nearly the same price brand new, then i would like to know about it. Also for products that was sold on thehub last month and is now back for sale - don't just post it, give the reason why it is back for sale and ..... Forget about 'Chuck, The Hof and Vernon Koekemoer', down in the Cape the MTB's drop roadies, and then gets on the highway and gives an old truck a little push! It slowed him down to only 40kmh but i'm sure he was soon back up to speed
