The stock was not for development. It is old dead stock. The same lawnmower shop is probably going to sit with the 200odd size small helmets they have. Or someone will see profit and buy a bunch.
The Specalized stock is all over the market in Gauteng. I have seen it in pawn shops and some big retail shops. The stock was baught from Spesalized at a fraction of cost.
The warranty should only apply to Mercedes-Benz motor plan. If the car is second-hand and off the plan then a qualified fitment center should be able to fit a goose neck towbar even with all the obstructions exhaust etc. But the towbar would be bike rack specific to avoid transmission damage.
The reason AMG don't allow tow bars is because of increased differential temperatures caused by added load. Engines cope fine, its the drivetrain that suffers. A towbar fitted for a bike rack should be fine. Will void any warranty from Merc.
I have seen debates on other forums with the pro riders who mesure as a 44cm and ride 38cm. Does this cause them discomfort? Do they just ride through the pain? Is width an issue when setting up or personal choice?
