The reason AMG don't allow tow bars is because of increased differential temperatures caused by added load. Engines cope fine, its the drivetrain that suffers. A towbar fitted for a bike rack should be fine. Will void any warranty from Merc.

I have seen debates on other forums with the pro riders who mesure as a 44cm and ride 38cm. Does this cause them discomfort? Do they just ride through the pain? Is width an issue when setting up or personal choice?

I have had success with a pinarello using lots of Q20 then boiling water. But have also been told that it could crack the carbon so maybe a last resort.

Correct a 68mm should have a 2.5mm each side.then use spacers on the 24mm spindle for correct preload.

The wavy washer is a variable lift washer can be used on GXP cranks PF or external BB. The spacers are a more accurate way of getting correct preload.

My setup cost me 15k and i paint a target by not removing them. But as said above it is a major undertaking to remove and replace when you need them.

I see Thule no-longer put the key number on the lock. Did the visible number contribute to the theft of racks and bikes? Or is the lock just broken and items are removed?

Nice 26er wheels often pop up on the hub. Need to be 8 speed minium as 8 speed freehub will work for 8/9/10 speed. Can even go 11 or 12 if you go with Sunrace cassette

The JSL, JL and JR if like the Titan 249R should be a X-Small/XX Small 26er. find a good second hand set of 26er wheels and a nice fork and you can pimp the bike out full XT 10 Speed with Hydraulic brakes. Done a few using NOS Raleigh RM5 bikes as a doner.
