    Fast Fuel

On my last few grains of Fast Fuel- Sports Fuel and have been struggling to find stock anywhere. Apparently they are not producing anymore?? Now have to find a new product- got a sachet of 32GI to try...really liked the fast fuel though!!
  11. Agree 100% Konaman. We need to nurture the young talent, of which a number of junior and U23 riders have the GENUINE potential to be worlds best!! All these riders need is the exposure to more international racing, perhaps in the same way Burry was exposed to fending for himself in the States at just 18 yrs old... The likes of James Reid and Luke Roberts (11th and 12th respectively at World Champs), Arno du Toit, Brendon Davids to name just a few should seriously be considered for the programme, if CSA is looking to make progress on the international scene, that is!!
  12. Posting again-What is the procedure for cycling the route twice? Does one simply walk into the starting pens at the back? Does the timing chip not get picked up by the mats (is it best to take the chip off)? Do the officials not check numbers etc. and disqualify your result? Thinking of doing the second lap with my dad who starts late.

  14. Does anyone know whether Fast Fuel will be at this years Cycle Tour Expo. Have tried to contact them but no reply as yet. Thanks
  15. It may be Patellofemoral/knee pain and is a common cycling injury. Prevention: Correct riding position, correct bike size and strong core. Stretching the quads and hamstring also helps. Try varying the saddle height as mentioned and try prevent excessive play on the pedals. If you get this injury stop immediately and let the knee rest. Listen to the body when it is telling you something
  16. Exclusive video footage of Case Mcgeorge and Louie Quadmichael training in Howick- presumably for the upcoming World Cup!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARKNLGcz4Qk&feature=player_embedded#
  17. AHAAA.. The "Prof" should try and include a cure/help to create "brilliant spelling and grammar"..... Should "CONFIDENTIALLY GUARANTEED" not read as "Confidentiality Guaranteed"??? Clearly "the Prof" doesn't subscribe to his own methods!!!
  18. Hi hubbers, I am currently using a set of Mavic Kysrium Elites (Shimano) on my road bike, but am interested in getting another set of wheels which will be used mainly for races, and have some questions to ask. firstly, will it be better to get clinchers or tubbies (have no team car)? Are deep section carbon wheels the way to go and what depth gives the best flexibility? (I would also like to get lighter wheels than the Mavics. Is it best to go with wheels which have an aluminium braking strip,( as opposed to full carbon) so that brake pads don't need to be changed all the time, and can the brake pads position remain the same for both wheels ie. current Mavic's also?2nd hand or new?I am looking to spend a maximum of around R7500, what is available in this price bracket? What brands could you recommend, (how do American Classic, Spinnergy and Mavic Cosmics compare to the above questions)Basically I am looking for lighter, faster wheels, where no adjustments must be made when I change wheel sets. Sorry for all the questions, but your help is appreciated... Thanks
