  1. Hi. Just a question that may help the op. Will a gravel bike frame such as the frame offered by Farr not be a good option! It is steel and designed to handle more abuse?
  2. @Peds. I was looking at your bike today. Just don't have the cash now as we bought 2 kayaks for the family. As mentioned Farr concepts has a steel frame. Very tempting. There was a Cotic Escapade frame for sale last month, I took to long to decide and missed that one. Really need to get me a gravel bike!
  3. Not cycling, still stoked. Will be trying them tomorrow.
  4. If that Kaffenback was a large?
  5. That is how I see it! I do enjoy long rides on the farm roads around here. Will very seldom only ride tar unless it is a race. Some of the blokes from my club want me to join them at the Kremetart, don't think I want to do that on the MTB bike!
  6. Awesome ride! Love the colour. Currently have my eye on a escapade frame! Want it as my commuter and my road bike! Due to where I live a normal road bike would be a waste. I have a minimum of 8km to get to the nearest tarred road! Enjoy she is a gorgeous!
  7. Have walked way more than 20 minute's today. Issue is cannot log it.
  8. Can do it. Walked plenty of stairs today at work as well. Busy with stock take. Don't have heartrate monitor so cannot link it to strava. Normally do a lunchtime walk when I am not sure if I will get time. Worked straight through today.
  9. True, however walking alone out on a farm at night is not really recommended these days. My life is worth more to me!
  10. Looks like Im out. Didnt go out this morning. Should have. Thought I could go this afternoon. Currently raining cats and dogs with lightning allround. Good luck to the rest off you!
  11. Still in it. Had 1 walk that us only 15 min on strava. Was about 23min. When I have it in running it doesnt auto pause. When I save it as a walk it changes the time. Still going to claim it. Almost did not get a chance on Friday. Was busy marking route for the Makhulu 5. Rushed home got a 20 min ride and rushed back to help with registrations. All good!
  12. Only 1 week to go. This is the first race of the Limpopo colours qualifying events. Hope to see other hubbers there.
  13. Impressive figures there Tim. I am behind you in second spot and have only done 838km on the bike and 21km running. Dont know how you do it.
  14. Almost gave in today. Had one of those Mondays at work and got home late. Decided to go for a walk. Glad I did. Sometimes the hardest part is to just get out the door!
  15. Still in it. Did a 80km ride today. Felt good but last 15km felt it as I had a headwind. This week may be tricky as weather seems to be rainy for the next 3days. Will however happily take the rain.
  16. Started feeling a bit iffy on Sunday. Walked Sunday and Monday with my daughter. Felt good again. Did a solid 30km today and felt good. Sometimes we need the break!
  17. Had a slight cold yesterday and today. Stayed of the bike. Just took my daughter for a walk. Started using Cancerbush tea at night. It is as bitter as hell but I mix it with rooibos tea. Makes it semi drinkable. Always use to go directly to my chest. Seems to be working as I already feel better tonight.
  18. Still in. Will see how long it lasts. Pretty tired tonight, legs are feeling it.
  19. Will be there!
  20. Auto pause is on. I did realize that it was the problem but I prefer it on for my riding. Still going strong. This week may be tricky. Got some after work appointments, so cannot commute as much as normal. Might need to get up earlier, not really a morning person.
  21. Feel you. Did a walk to the shops and back to work earlier in the week. Was a total time of about 40min. Strava only recorded it as 16 minutes. Could luckily fit a run in later in the day.
  22. Also still going. Tomorrow may be tough as I will be on the road. Hopefully back in time to fit something in.
  23. Left the bike at home today. Had a serious headwind going back home yesterday. Took me almost an hour to get home were a normal day would be about 45min. Need some rain here in Polokwane!
  24. Still going. Almost didn't run tonight as there was a storm brewing. Decided to go out. Glad I did. Thumps up to all that is still going!????????????
  25. @ DJR Really enjoyed that! Cool posts!!!
