  1. The hill on the way home from work is alway hard, but eventually you sweat less People at work judge you, but you judge them right back Commuters with beards look cool, but I always wonder if they have a real job The wind can be so strong that you have to abandon ship or hit the pavement You'll always come second in a collision, never forget it When riding a SS up a hill and somebody on a road bike passes you they'll say nice bike, you just grunt Picking up groceries in the way home is hard, especially corn flakes or anything in a big box- couple this with wind and you're a sail- see point 4 above Bedtime is earlier
  2. Great shop. It's dangerous to your bank balance though.
  3. I think it is an interesting topic this. If all the sealant sits at the bottom of the tyre while you're going you are essentially having a lower centre of gravity compared to it being spread out evenly around the tyre due to the centrifugal force. The question is: At what speed does the sealant become more or less evenly spread out? Also raises the point that if you are not going fast enough the majority will be at the bottom and towards the back of the tyre, which is good for if you just went over a thorn or something. Hmmm, trying to calculate the speed.
  4. Doesn't work- every time I hit enter it brings up the twitter box. Tried everything
  5. My cheap as chips SS: http://i.imgur.com/35KtLUy.jpg Plane Jane FTW. I'm contemplating spending more money on making it planer...

  10. So some of you may have noticed my absence, or not. Anyway, I somehow managed to get myself a job as crew on a team going to Dakar. I started in October last year and just returned. Haven't cycled in 4 months and can't say I've missed it as I haven't really had time to, but looking to get back into it again. I was quite fit when I started but that fitness was used in keeping me awake instead of going forward on a bike. Working hours were often 5am till 11pm and then starting at 5 again. I don't have much work experience, but I have never worked as hard as I did and that was just to rebuild the car before it left for the race. Dakar itself was something completely different. The driver drives in the day, we fixed at night, all night. At one stage we had about 5 all nighters in a row. Anyway, sitting at breakfast with Sainz, Petterhanzel and Roma all at the table next to me made up for it a bit. Anyway, now I'm back I'm struggling to sleep as it is way too quiet and dark- amazing what we can get used to. So, what did I miss on the hub? More blue waffles, bans, general anarchy?
  11. Hey guys and girls I have entered for the 108km crater cruise and something came up and cannot do it anymore. Let me know if you want the entry and are willing to pay the substitution fee or whatever. I haven't investigated it as things have been a bit hectic and will only check back here tomorrow night.
  12. Yoh, some people have been playing too much GTA.
  13. Also bad style from people offering a few bob extra when they were a bit late to the party. Buyer should get a bad rating too in this case- Swak Styl!
  14. You can also contact Hugh from white water training- might be able to help. At the outlet there is a big sign that says nobody is allowed on the river, but can't believe that.
