    They trying so hard to keep it alive, but with the Tshwane Classic now the same weekend, I fear the race might die a slow death. Missing it this year as we are going away, otherwise we would be supporting.

    Do Grey College still do their road race or has that also fallen out of the calendar?

    Has been an addiction since doing it in 2016 for the first time. Presumably the amazing weather played a part. Has been a fixture in my calendar since, we simply budget and save for it from the end of March to the next one. My wife has done 10 and her dad 11, so I feel I need to keep doing it until I also get 10, granted they will probably then both be on 21, so then I will have to keep doing them until I get to 21 as well. Vicious cycle. . . May have to move to Cape Town soon, looking at how our petrol price is going.

    I feel you man, and having no cheap flight options without going to Joburg, it makes the time spent there shorter with the ride down as well.

    yeah, but I would rather not tick that box, otherwise you end up with the ASG issue of getting many emails a day about the same race

    If 2014 was good, a pattern could have been established, seeing as 2015 was shortened due to the fires.

    Thanks, will keep that in mind. How long does the back one last generally? Obviously depends on flashing mode and such, or is it just safer to keep it topped up as I see no battery low indicator at all. And agreed, just from testing at home, that back light is SUPER bright

    That's exactly the point I was making, heavily doubt that SKY are anywhere near the level of doping that USPS were on. But I suppose mindless, illogical hating of the current dominant team is the way to go these days, logic and common sense take a back seat
