  12. Being a cyclist for most of my life, I have seen many odd things cyclist do (voluntarily being seen in public wearing lycra being one of them)... but the oddest has got to be the white cycling pant White shoes, socks, jerseys, saddles, frames, and even wheels I can understand. Now, I can also understand the pro's wearing the white pant (the likes of FdJ, HTC-Columbia et al.), because well... they are paid to wear them... For everyone else who dons the white pant (particularly, but not limited to muddy mtb rides), I have one question: WHY?
  13. Dis die nommer wat ek vir hulle het: 086 199 0001
  14. Hey goatman... Give Jappie a call at Union Cycles in Brackenfell. I think he still does bike resprays.
  15. Okay
  16. I've had a simliar experience where they try and ride as close to you as possible... I was then clever enough to tell the guy what I thought about his mommy... he wasn't impressed and then they proceeded to tune me all types of kaka, when at that moment I got a nice "green slimmy" in my throat and aimed it their way (another bad move)... mr. green slimmy then decided to fly through the passenger window and land nicely on the inside of the windscreen with a lovely *splat*... then I k@ked myself coz they stopped the truck up the road and waited for me... So I had to make a u'ie and try and ride away from them (while hearing their footsteps and cursing behind me)... I got away... but only just... I'm sure I would've gotten mo3red, and hard...

  20. Hi Chris - Yip my bad... asked my dad last night and he corrected me as well... Anthony came third (riding for the defence force i think) - and he still has his purple Hansom with bio-pace chainrings Will see you guys again when I'm over the flu (I'm missing my wed eve night rides )
  21. I agree with you BeOne, I think SRAM gave shimano a big wake up call when they entered the market... I would personaly never ride with Shimano again (even SRAM's mtb stuff works so darn well)... But there is just something so suave about Campy... Campy & Colnago, Campy and Bianchi, Campy & Pinarello... it's just the way it's meant to be...
  22. WELL DONE BUYCYCLE!!!
  23. Being the SRAM fan that I am... on a Bianchi you HAVE to go with a Campy groupo, it just doesn't look right otherwise...
