    Can somebody please help ? Im a MTB rider looking to purchase a road bike so that i can get some extra time in saddle. Cant decide between the Raleigh RC6000 ('06 model) that cajees have on special or the Merida 904. Is it worth spending the extra R2000.00 on the merida or will i be happy with the RC6000 taking into account i wont be riding the road that mutch ? Both bikes have Shimano 105 on.

    Buy a (insert your favourite bike brand here) ! Ok I can't change my bike but whats the most cost effective way to shed some weight. Specs Hardtail Merida Matts LX Champion XT shifters and DRs BB bearing is a std (ie not external) Not great wheels Hydraulic RNCYC (I think) brakes I think the wheel set is the best place to start. If so what would you suggest, considering value for money?

    Merida AM3000

    hi people i am looking into buying a Merida Am3000 in the next month or so. i have been doing a bit off shopping and looking around and found the Commencal Meta 5.5. it looks like a nice bike so now i am stuck between the 2 bikes. does anyone have any off these bikes? any info on either would be highly appreciated!! PS. i am looking for a bike that i can ride on all day long and on one that can take a bit off a beating. i dont wanna do massive jumps and drops but if something small comes along i am going to want to hit it!!! will these bikes handle it? thanks alot!!

    I am still doing some research...what would you take, the Zaskar has a great frame but the components are better on the Merida....what would you take for just under R10 000????
