Had already asked him for the discount, and was not able to do that discount, best he could do before the price match was around 18K

 

That price is basically cost + vat

I even saw the invoice from the supplier

Dunno about that - that is the 2008 colour scheme - they wont bring in the blue/black one

Thats why I went with the 2007 frame colour, not a fan of the team scheme

Just prefer the other colour scheme - its also looks better in real life than in the pics, and doesn't date as quickly as a "team" bike

I would love to have looked at an Idol too, just couldn't find one in any of the shops I visited in JHB, and I looked at almost all of them

Things are turbulent in the SA bike industry. For example, I dont think Colnago even has an agent in SA anymore  I think Marvuli are official De Rosa agents,  I think they are nice bikes.

 

If Im not mistaken, both De Rosa and Colnago were imported/sold by Cyclelab at some point, but the relationship went sour. Coincidence?
