This is a thanks to Arshad and Alone at Solomons in Pretoria North for the excellent, and i mean excellent, service received from them recently (actually always  ).

I traded in my old Wheeler on a new Fuji. It had some issues with the stability and a rear brake vibration. They've now spend days to ensure that the problems are resolved. The rear-brake is still a bit of an issue - after replacing numerous disks, pads, and even trying the calipers - it has been greatly resolved by installing a temporary 160mm disk (from the original 180) until Fuji themselve can address the problem (suspect it might be a linkage issue).

In the process i've been upgraded to Bontrager rims at a small fee and trading in the old XT set.

Arshad and Alone's attitude to their customers is really outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble, and a smile is there, even when 'negotiation' gets tough. :P

I've been using many other LBShops over the years, but my commitment is really to these guys. They've helped out to service 9 bikes from a children's home and replaced all the parts at below cost and no labour charges. They are really a lekka bunch, and in my opinion the best LBS by far!

I have purchased three bikes and many many other items through the years. Alone and Arshad have become almost family. Arshad has even sent me spares by mail here in Nigeria.

Only "experience" I ever had was when I bough my Gary Fisher from them it did not have some of the original specced parts on it. They put it back without questions.

Alone went the distance when my new Raleigh Tandem rear hub seized.

Recently there have been quite a couple of hubbers giving Solomons the thumbs up. This just shows what great service and pricing can do for a LBS. I will be sure to pay them a visit next time before popping into another LBS. Keep up the good work!

I have placed a few mail orders to Bloem with them and it gets a big

Has anybody used Solomon's online order placing facility and do you know if they deliver to KZN?
