Just wanted to know what you guys will be doing to keep fit now that the season is practically over.

I will be dusting off my mtb as well.

Good to see you yesterday in the mix, orbeaorca!

Find the next goal and challenge!

There is the Malmesbury Rotary road race in 2 weeks.

Try to hit the sub 2:45 there.

The Knysna road event is in early July. Still a way off.

I will be finding lots of beautiful weekend rides in new places like

bainskloof, franschoek pass, du toits kloof pass, etc. after resting my bum for a few weeks.

And further my connection on the bike with Fakes, Vallie, Bones, Spat.

Social rides at Meerendal on the MtB will also be on the mix.

No mud for me. Just powder dust!

Well mostly MTB'ing for now, first the Sani2C which requires a lot of training I think, then the Oyster fest MTB and Road. After that the Kremetart and Jock and then the cycle starts all over again with the Amashova, 94.7 but this time we added the MTB event as well, Jacaranda etc. Also in the interim a few Babbas Lodges and Redstones.....

Don't forget the Oudtshoorn road cycle tour (its an Argus seeding race) on the 9th Oct2011. It is one for the mauntain goats. 1st half of the race goes mostly uphill; the 2nd half goes back to the start with a slight (KOM) detour.

Did it last year - great race, stunning area, 5 hours from CT. Took my family there and they had a great time. Our accommodation was 200m from the start.

Yup, time to get dirty and have some fun on the MTB!

A lot more relaxed, for me anyway, a not-so-great-on-the-technical-stuff-roadie!

The spring classics, then the Dauphine, the midi libre, and the 4 days of dunkirk.

I mean after a sub three hour at the world funride champs, that programme will be a breeze.
