Java001 Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Saw him out on the road on Sunday afternoon on a Cervelo. I greeted him (as I do all other cyclists) and as usual got nothing back from him. Eugene, here in our neck of the woods in PE the MTBikers and Roadies co-exist in relative peace with each other, but it would seem that there is a bit of apartheid that almost translates into a bit of unfriendliness between Roadies and the TT/Triathlon guys. Just my imagination ?
Bullet Posted March 23, 2011 Author Posted March 23, 2011 no doubt that if there is someone that can give the men a go it would be her but it would be interesting to see what the mens times was when she put up her world record.. if i recall correctly she broke the world record after starting with triathlons like a year earlier Winning time for overall men was something like 7:52. more interesting however is James's time in th same race 8:18 one minute from being chicked.

Just my imagination ? Yup just your imagination. I do all 3 disciplines and have found the tri guys to be amazingly friendly and helpful.

Andriette Schoemann always does.If you want to see full blown hatred, overtake someone one a TT bike riding your MTB!
