Its fairly easy - when u switch the watch on for the first time it will take you through all the user setup info. For run-/cycle-specific info go to settings, select activity and setup there - there are many options, no easy way to explain but similar to the 405 setup process. Just remember to switch OFF notifications every kilometre if you want a beep with the km time each km (not sure why it works like that).

thanks i managed to set everything up, downloaded/installed the software and transferred yesterday's events...

only problem NOW is: yesterday i did a cycle, got to the event, ran 10km and cycled back home...i did switch the mode from bike to run and back to bike again but it registered it as a mutisport and transferred everything to the multisport folder..i wanted the bike ride to be seperate from the run event..it counted time, distance and HR as one continuous thing..same thing on the graphs..the display mode did say bike and run but was under the multisport mode????

hmmmm now i dont know..

how do i get the two seperate??

thanks

thanks! i have 2.1 though just thought there will be a free non-trial for 3.0smile.gif

Best I can do is a crack for 3.0 ;)

But that's not supposed to be allowed, I'm sure. Hey, 3.0 is only $35, that's only R270 something?

Why not use Garmin Connect ?

Upload the file from GTC and you'll be able to see the whole route profile.

Click Me

This was a bad example, being a flat route but you getthe picture.

Hi Helloise

310xt is sooo awesome but takes a while to get used to. To separate your sessions you need to press and hold lap/reset after your session until the countdown finishes and device beeps, this ends the activity and resets the device.

Ciao
