You can also bargain on price with them.

 

Clint and Arthur are both very knowledgable and will advise the best solution for you even if it means a lost sale for them.

 

They are my favourite LBS by far.

I've started using Solomons on Lynnwood Road in Pretoria. Find them to be very helpful and prices are very reasonable. The guy in the workshop and on the floor, Alone, is a terrific guy, don't think I'll use anybody else.

Slick's Cycle Workshop - very few mistakes happen in there (we do emply some expert mechanics from time to time)

 

 

Another vote for Finish Line Cycles. I learnt a lot from Clint in the early days of my cycling career and still take newbs there For bike buying excursions even though it is now quite a drive.
