Didn't read the N.A.G. thread - damn - clearly I missed something.

Anyone car to give me a diplomatically correct summary of what happened?

(Edit: Apologies for the highjack)

I am also inquisitive now ?

No I won't.

Let's just hope Democracy prevails.

If I step up and say 'Help me out, I have acted like a &*$%# and now need your excuses', then I should expect to be called a &*S%# or worse, it's my democratic right to be called same, as I ASKED for IT.

Now back to the flashy lights issue, and hands up all of you who have ridden without when in traffic!

I never go anywhere without at least a rear flasher (keep it clean Drongo   )

My front light is very weak, one of those 5 led jobbies, but waiting for my Lenser bike mount, then the front will also be covered

The closest I have come to riding without lights is my Blackburn Flea going flat 15 minutes into the ride. I was VERY uncomfortable and even considerred turning back. Ended up riding behind somebody with a light instead!

Thanks mate, coffee in the left hand and mouse in the right, I was more entertained reading through that, than watching the TDF with a druggy in the lead

I am sure the entertainment would have escalated was it not for the Tardy Jam factory

(keep it clean Drongo   ) How did I get dragged into this?

You only find those in Fortuners.

"My front light is very weak, one of those 5 led jobbies" - KNOG? Look slick - but as good as a candle in a jam tin.

Just establishing plausible deniability

Not Knog, but about the same intensity (100 lum or so) It just makes me more visible. :)

OK read it now. Hells bells :o :o

Reading it again, was the OP perhaps casting out a fat bait on a big hook, waiting for a big bite?

And now back to the topic of the thread. I use those mag shine lights (bought from Edge Design) - love their work.

And another note: for me, not only are 'no lights' people organ donors, but what about people who ride with their ears full of music? I will ride the trails with my ipod, but this is crazy on the tar.

I believe that they are banned from races. Definitely MTB not sure about road...

I am also commuting with this light. I use it in the flashing mode. Even fortuner drivers give me right of way.

I have now bought the rear light from the same source and will try it out next week.

Yeah, I need to put my light back on. Have noticed the last few days how "invisible" I've become on the road even with my hi-viz jacket. Nearly road killed two pedestrians this morning at the taxi rank while they crossed the road.

Even a cheap light from BOB or Mr Price is all one needs. Cheaper than a stay in the hospital.

Agree. The problem is that many of these organ donars purchase headphones & earphones with noise canceling technology thus increasing the risk even when there is no sound coming out but still plugged in.

Ok, back to topic, I use the Exposure MaXx D.

Crikey! 1200 Lumens and 3 hours on max. That is impressive. Must have set you back a few rond though! I like the idea of no cables as well. Nice looking light. What is the beam like?

Dangle.....

HUGE favour please....

I am looking at some front lights.....and obviously want to outshine Scalpel.

So this will be very nice fitting on the bike.....BUT.

I have FSA K-wing bars on and only X amount of mm next to the stem to clamp.

Please measure that clamp for me on those Exposures of yours?

Thank you!!
