TheSaint Posted March 31, 2011 Share Yes, the 1st and last stage being televised live on Super Sport is really appreciated, but what about the other more important and more interesting stages. I am seriously disappointed in the 30min of coverage on DSTV dedicated to this world class event. It shows the pros but what about the other riders, some hubbers, who slog away daily. They actually make the Epic what it is. Use this event to showcase SA just like they do in the TdF. Besides explaining where the route goes through do a feature on the wine farms and the type of wines they produce etc. Come on SS strive for better. Lift the bar. I have even more admiration for all the riders who partake in this event as I have been following more closely this year. Furthermore if you want to see races like Tour of Flanders, Giro with English commentary, the whole Tour in Hi Def, the Vuelta etc... please join in and go to their website, at the bottom of the home page is a "contact us link", and take 1 minute and tell them this. If more cyclists did this Supersport would realize that we need to be taken seriously and would be stupid not to improve the coverage. Please join in and send them a mail. Thanks.
