I have a favourite pair of MTB gloves that are just majic!! Love them and the gel support they give...

Problem is - they are getting really old and smelly!!

Even after a wash through he machine, it seems that on their first use afterwards they start to smell like err...well used gloves.

I wonder if there are any other "treatments" out there to rejuvenate these?

Would boiling them a bit help?

sigh.....men!

just buy a new pair

Nooooo!! Don't say that!!

I already have a new pair - Pearl Inzumi nogaal, BUT these ones I like more...they've really moulded to my hands (no pun intended) :D

OK, so boiling them is a bit extreme....what else can remove that "old sweaty smell"?

Maybe i must just perfume them....

Oom C, soak them in diluted Bicarbonate of Soda ! Its the oldest housewives trick but still works the best. You can also sprinkle some Bicarb after each use. Works also for shoes, mattress and your fridge.

Actually those miracle odor away sprays you buy at Mall stalls is just Bicarb and Water. The same goes to 1:1 White Vinegar and water mixture to clean LCDs and PLASMAs.

Boil 'em with your hands in 'em Fubber.

The smell will mean nothing to you in very short time.
