Lovely music

the reverence to Billy Joel made me remember:

Like the Alcohol Annonomissssese there is a group of people in town that get together to talk about their problems.

One evening I heard a group of people belting out, at the top of their lungs the song of Billy Joel : Why I go to extremes

All of them are Clinically depressed and this is their group song.

Call me a joker, call me a fool

Right at this moment I'm totally cool

Clear as a crystal, sharp as a knife

I feel like I'm in the prime of my life

Sometimes it feels like I'm going too fast

I don't know how long this feeling will last

Maybe it's only tonight

Darling I don't know why I go to extremes

Too high or too low there ain't no in-betweens

And if I stand or I fall

It's all or nothing at all

Darling I don't know why I go to extremes

Sometimes I'm tired, sometimes I'm shot

Sometimes I don't know how much more I've got

Maybe I'm headed over the hill

Maybe I've set myself up for the kill

Tell me how much do you think you can take

Until the heart in you is starting to break?

Sometimes it feels like it will

Darling I don't know why I go to extremes

Too high or too low there ain't no in-betweens

You can be sure when I'm gone

I won't be out there too long

Darling I don't know why I go to extremes

Out of the darkness, into the light

Leaving the scene of the crime

Either I'm wrong or I'm perfectly right every time

Sometimes I lie awake, night after night

Coming apart at the seams

Eager to please, ready to fight

Why do I go to extremes?

And if I stand or I fall

It's all or nothing at all

Darling I don't know why I go to extremes

No I don't know why I go to extremes

Too high or too low

There ain't no in-betweens

You can be sure when I'm gone

I won't be out there too long

Darling I don't know why I go to extremes

I don't know why...I don't know why...

I don't know why...I don't know why...

Out in the dark...into the light...

either i'm wrong...perfectly right

I am seriously considering getting a turntable. Where do you buy the records? Are they readily available or is it mostly on-line?

The Musica Mega Stores keep some.

I bought the past weekend.

The Lumineers R 109.00.

Rolling Stones - Hot Rocks R 220.00.

Beatles - Revolver R 109.00.

Beatles - Let it be R 109.00.

Few weeks back.

Arno Carstens - Atari Gala R 99.00.

Bob Marley - Kaya R 90.00.

Rolling Stones - Exile on Main Street R 220.00.

There are also a few people that import and you can also go through international retailers.

The big trick is the turntable, you will only get the best quality sound if you don't skimp at all.

So a good TT. then arm and cartridge.

The problems don't end there, you will need a good phonostage.

Forkie, here is the turntable I use.

Sold three bikes to put some money towards it.

I also use the arm in the picture.

The TT is the Avid Volvere Sequel.

The arm is the SME V.
