Durbanville Mtb Night Rides

We had a lekka ride last night. Cool but windless conditions for most of the ride. NW started to pick up over the last few rollers leading to D'Urbanvale.

Eight guys rocked up (where were you, Lizzy?). THANKS GUYS FOR GOOD COMPANY.

Pace was a bit higher than last week, but I coped quite well. Looks like I recovered from my sickness.

Keep an eye on the other Mtb thread for arrangements for a possible Saturday ride at Bottelary, weather permitting.

Had a Cape Town Masters Swimming meeting - time to start swimming again! And with the rain early this morning it would've been possible out on the bike! :D

The thrill of testosterone and mine is bigger than yours! We're a wolfpack. We should get some ladies to balance it out.

Thanks for the ride guys!

There my counting abilities deserted me again.

Tx Andro.

I did some secret solo (and very slow) training and were passed by your group (I was going in the opposite direction towards Adderley) as you came down Spes Bona close to Klipheuwel Rd. There was a lone rider chasing you a few minutes behind who enquired whether I saw your group, did you catch up?

There was another group of about 6 riders on Spes Bona as well as a couple of solo riders.

A fullish moon such as last night ads another dimension to night riding.

Now why is it that we just can't get all off these riders together???

Should we move the starting time to 18:30?

Our page is not outrageous.

Btw, chap chasing us, we waited for him at Wellington rd.

And, I noticed you ridding past on your own.... but way? Join us next time.

Thanks for the ride last night guys, I thought I was doing ok till we started hitting the hills after the halfway point, then my fitness started letting me down.

Will definitely join you again if things fall into place like it did last night
