Hi Guys,

I bought my View a Nikon D5100 a year a go but she feels she isn't doing the camera any justice because he knowledge is very limited. She's been on the Nikon course for the camera but needs more knowledge.

Can anyone recommend some Photography for Dummies books, magazine etc.

Quickest way to become proficient and even very good with your camera is to join a photography club. They have club nights about once a month, where a panel of judges judge your photos for a score (out of 15) for good photos you are awarded stars, after about say 10 golds you advance to the next star. The top being 5 stars. It is great fun, and you learn a hell of a lot about photography.
