My Dad owned this exact car when we were kids (1978 Holden Monaro GTS) .... was the coolest car in the street then and that V8 had a mean sound! Still in the extended family and being restored at the moment. Only pic I got unfortunately :(

Don't see these often. Fair amount of Fairmonts, but I suspect the Monaro's are also being subjected to the same fate. A life in Australia....

Some pics of an old camera I had lying around... Wish I could figure out how it works!

Playing around with black and white at the moment!

Looks like a pinhole style camera.

Some manuals here.

Thanks Dangle. I was actually on their site earlier but didn't see the manual link. I will browse when I get a chance. I would love to try out a few film shots if I can get it working... Otherwise it will go into the "stuff" box destined for my future bar!

I have ordered myself a nice carry around camera, it uses an EXR processor that will give images close to film.

Looks like a nice carry camera, DPreview also have good things to say about it in their previews - interesting take on the sensor.

However, I have vowed never to give Fuji another cent after buying one of their cheap weatherproof compacts - its sensor, lens and autofocus combination are shockingly poor, it takes pictures at 2005 cellphone level quality. And the noise at an ISO higher than 400 is terrible. And seeing as though I bought it in 2009 thats unacceptable.

Rant off - keep up the supply of good pics guys - even if I have not had anything to contribute lately I still follow the thread.

This is the case with their cheap compacts, thus the word "cheap"

But more seriously, the X series is a whole different ball game, the X 100 is R 14 K, too much for a compact :o

The X10 also now offers the zoom lens and it's a manual zoom f2.0-f2.8.

That EXR processor is amazing, I have seen it's capabilities on the X 100.

Either this or the Leica M 9 (R 65 K   )

Nice one Mamp's.

I like the lens flare and the water as well as the almost silhouette of the balloon.

I think if the water is more clear, i mean the lens flare more will be better.
