I still have mental scars of that last steep climb up the hill to the winery, cruel way to finish a race!

 

I still have minor brain damage I cramped so much in 2011, felt like all we did was climbing for 70km, even my face cramped.

Haha! Was my first 40km race, also my introduction to the art of cramping, but can't claim that the cramps extended to my face

 

How does this year's route profile compare then?

Should be much easier as we only do Koringberg once...

Exactly bro, my legs cramped uphill my face cramped downhill haha, I finished my first 70km in stage race time that day, and I've only cycled for like 5 or 6 months then...

I think this was from a few years ago. As far as I know the route has changed since then and this is a new route as well.

Just picked up my board - MD again for the third year in a row

 

I though I would have dropped a few seedings as every time I start in MD I get overtaken by the whole field it feels.

 

Maybe they just feel sorry for me but I will start at the back this time and hope at least to overtake one person.
