I'm running Conti race 2.0's and they are very fast, but found they not good for thick sand and mud.

Any suggestions for a good all-rounder?

I have found the Conti X-Kings a pretty good all round tyre and very good in mud and lose sand.I am using the 2.2 Protection on a tubeless rim and it works fine.

Conti X-King 2.2 on the front and Race King 2.2 on the back. I have ridden this combination in ALL conditions and found it to work incredibly well.

Look various factors apply here, but I run race king MNTking in summer, the race kings are totatlly useless in wet conditions. Now that its winter I use the X-king and the new MNTking2 and the combination is litterally te best i have ever used, and Ive used quite a couple of combinations.

The X-king is more aggressive than the raceking and less than the mountainking. I would go so far as to say that you could run X-king front and rear in winter and it would work beautifully, loads of grip fast rolling for a medium tread, and oodles of grip.

I prefer the MNTking2''s upfront even though they add to the rolling resistance, but the grip on the new versions are just out of this world. And i have a really aggressive cornering style I like to lean into my corners. So i need all the grip i can possibly get upfront. But i would definitly go for

Xking front and rear as a year round combination (they shed mud quite quickly too) CWC will be getting the X-kings Shortly.
