Kwashi Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Hi guys I've been noticing the amout of GPS tracks being loaded, and not knowing too much about the different operating software, I wanted to know if my Garmin Quest(used for offroad 4x4 expeditions) would work for MTBing, it runs with MapQuest and has tracks for Africa installed....

RocknRolla Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 the big diffirences are: no heartrate. no cadence.other than that, the size of the quest is a bit bulky. may also not be too happy if your bike goes tumbling.
Tiny K Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 it should work as it would use a tcx file to save the data. Only thing is, can you start, stop map routes? On my garmin 800, it only starts recording the route from the time I start the ride until I stop the clock i.e. Not while I am driving to and from the venue.
