@Banna, the build quality on the Crossmax SX's looks great! plus these are old (2008) ones. I'm guessing you're getting 2011/2012s, which are even better. That said though... I've never had such a skinny rim before, and I'm a little apprehensive about that. I guess I'll just have to see how they hold up.

Ja time will tell. But I think they'll be fine. I've seen what Fabien Barel does on Crossmax SLR's and if they can hold up with that type of riding, then I'm sure the SX's will be more than fine with whatever you can chuck at them.

 very cool Mad!

I love my Spike-Pro2 wheelset... pity that right now it's sitting in the garage with no bike to ride on.

So my vote... wait for some Hopes!

Been thinking of getting some Spank Oozy rims. Help me out - what do the measurements mean:

ERD: 537mm

ETRTO: 559 x 21mm

?

the 537 and 559 have to do with the diameters. But don't worry... it basically means 26"

The 21mm is the internal width of the rim. The external on those rims is 25/26mm

thinking of the new oozy evo's

currently running AlexRim supraBH's - they are 25mm, and moerse huge and heavy. I think they are overkill and I might be able to get away with the 21mm Oozy's, and save a little weight. I should be able to run 2.4s on them just fine, no?

SupraBH - 610g, 25mm

Spank Subrosa - 520g, 24.5mm

Spank Oozy - 420g, 21mm

Wes - 112kg, 1.8m :P

There are a few other spank options that may be worth a look

Tweet Tweet 28 EVO - 550g, 22.9mm

Spike Race 28 EVO (The Spike EVO's lighter counterpart) - 500g, 22mm

They're heavier than the Oozy, but stronger and still lighter than the SupraBH
