Help! Heidelberg/Swellendam Bike Shop

I'm on day 2 of a 9 day cycle tour through the Western Cape and my cycling shoes have been stolen from the B 'n B I'm staying at.

 

 

 

Does anyone have a contact number for a bike shop in Heidelberg or Swellendam that stocks Specialized shoes?

I think I'm a 40. Usually take a size 6. Am supposed to be riding from Riversdale to Heidelberg tomorrow and then from Heidelberg to Swellendam on Tuesday. Mtb shoes. Am looking for the ladies Specialized Moto Diva shoes. I use eggbeaters.

There's a guy from Mossel Bay on the forum, he might be the best option with regards cycle shop info in the area. Try PM him: mbaymike

 

Other option might be to give Chris Jnr a call at CWCyles, they courier stuff around all the time & I'm sure will try to help out.

Was in Swellendam for the DC this weekend & I did actually see a bike shop. They were closed so I don't know what they stock & I can't remember their name, but they were downstairs from the Country Cousin restaurant(028-514-1660) so you could always phone them to find out the cycle shop name so that you could call them.

There is a small bike shop in Swellendam in the little mall. Best would be to call the tourism office for its details.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I am going to see if my LBS can courier some to me. At least they will know how to set up my cleats as I had them done there two weeks ago. The guys here on tour don't seem to know what eggbeaters are.

Thanks Thuggie. It is pouring with rain here and the poor guys riding have to do 70kms offroad over very hilly terrain and most of them have slicks on (me included). Glad in a way that I'm not riding today.

 

 

 

PS: My Topeak mudguard works and hasn't broken yet.

Thanks for all the replies. I've just chatted to my LBS (Grant Cycles Centurion) and they've managed to get me shoes and will fit the cleats and then courier it to me. YAY!
