Me-rider Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 I have currently a Silverback Phoenix and it is a good bike with deore components but the bike is quite heavy at 15kg's (extra's on bike is wired computer,aluminium bottle holder,silverback pump, and other grips with side handlebars. how can I make it lighter? Reduce intake of pies? The only way to reduce weight and get money doing it.....
Moolz Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 We have a Silverback (Ventura)in our stable and it is awesome. For the price the spec is amazing and she is very light. Has over 1000km on it and it is yet to give a single hassle. Couldnt agree more!If you compare component for component - nothing else comes close...I managed to find a 2010 Silverback Nabraska (same specs as the Ventura)for under 7k....

On a serious note, absolutely nothing wrong in almost a year except for folding the wheel in half, but that was my fault cos i thought i was a dare devil. haha. replaced with mavics.
