hey zoo. yup. got home safe and sound. although me and kritzie did have some scary moments!!! was a huge amount of fun. and we have another roadie ready to ditch his skinny wheels and ride a dikwiel.

 

the other okes were soooooo jealous that we had the presence of mind to pack beers in the camelbaks

nah, don't sweat the skills. things kinda spread out a bit over the singletrack, but because there are so many in the group, it's fairly easy to see where you're supposed to be going.

 

my light's battery went flat after a while (not a good omen for the 24-hour), so i did most of the last 5kays in relative darkness.

not sure. about 20, i think. took forever. lots of start-stop, but it gave us more time to dig into the camelbaks for the beers

yes, on my visits to groenkloof i also noticed that time can fly and you just feel like staying another 5 minutes more...

Yo Yo and a bottle of beer!!! Thanks for the ride last night HR it was a hell of a lot of fun!!  Think its the way to go to ride on beer and not all this other expensive sh*t you buy from the bulked up lads at Dischem.

Hell HR I didnt know you could go downhill only on the front wheel!!! Major skill or should I say beer involved.

 

Dont know why you okes moan about the switchbacks they all straight after a few beers were riding them like they were the 100m sprint.
