I stopped off there last weekend to see a sign that Teak Place in closed for renovations.

Ok , so while they might be renovating the restaurant and buildings, why cant the trails still be ridden?

Seems like there is more to this than meets the eye

From speaking with the GM of Teak on the last day, this is what I got from him.

Teak was closed as a going concern, the trails were owned and maintained by someone else but on the land owned by Teak.

Since Teak as a whole was running at a loss for 12 months, the board took the decision to close it as a going concern. Whether or not it opens in the near future is irrelevant right now, no one is there for access, maintaining the trails and all the bridges are gone. Since it's also private land, folk cant ride there as it raises the question of liability for the owners of the property.

Unfortunate, was a really good place for riding.
