Hoogie sounds so, I don't know, effete. Wouldn't The Hoog be more manly?

Either way, Johnny makes Jens look like BigBen's favorite pink blouse.

Willydog would be furious if he saw this vilification of his hero. Luckily he's in France at the moment.

Does anyone know why 2 medic cars and an ambulance were driving up Tokai this evening?

Hope it is not a cyclist going down again...

Tch!

OK, how about The Hooger Meister?

Hoogster made Jens choose his twitter name as @thejensie

regardless of Hoogie flossing his bum with barbed wire...JENS is still the hardest element known to man.

Sounds like a German liqueur…

So that when we meet David coming up the DH track he is easily recognisable and can be issued the proper respectful greeting due to him.

Why do some people have stupid comments/phrases written at the bottom of their profile??

Nearly as useless as those guys wearing powerband bracelets

Okay, seriously now…anyone have any more news about the accident…the Tokai one? <_<

Just heard from a work colleague who was on the scene when it happened. Apparently a cyclist hit one of the new drainage culverts on the main dirt road at speed. He was in a very bad way... severe facial damage.

LOL! Seriously bro, to echo Pain or Shine - come along to the next build day when we're looking at some other singletrack. No pay, but hell - there might be a braai afterwards or something, and you can put back into those trails that you ride.

Just please don't ride up the DH only singletrack sections, mate. I know it's hard to see which ones are DH only due to the current lack of signage, but I'm sure you know by now...

Got no problem to get involved, just not gonna help on the DH trails!

Let me know when single tracks gets attention, the trails without ANY man made jumps.

If there is a hint to work on jumps, I`m outta there!

Signs are needed in Tokai with the direction arrows!

Just out of interest, who classifies a trail as DH? The main hill single track was initially a normal single track. Someone started to build jumps just next to the trail and now its known as a DH??

Most of the riders I`ve seen using this trail are NON-DH riders!!! From beginners to semi-pros, riding in both directions!!

Why do some guys list there bikes and parts at the end of each post? Steel frame. 2 wheels. A crank etc

Its a custom build XC bike, not a bike bought off the LBS floor!
