Just a question, but with some of the things (cycling related) posted here, did you guys really not know simple things like Lance was a triathlete, and the length of a track?

Not quite - the modern standard is 250m - although the track at the World Cycling Centre in Aigle, Switzerland is 200m, go figure. Most of the existing tracks are 457m long, or 500 yards as they were built in the fifties and sixties. Some 333m tracks exist (there is one in Durban), but they are in the minority. The only 333m track in a covered velodrome, of which I am aware, is the olympic track in Moscow.
