In my own defense it was in the garage - I know that's no excuse but it was locked up

 

 

Thats not really an excuse for a lock either. Sorry to hear about the loss though.

that sucks. got one of those locks for the fixie, but always took the U-lock for the expensive bike...

 

I think the best thing to use in the garage is a monsterbolt into the wall and thick chain covered with an inner tube and a fat padlock.

Mine hang from the roof in the garage but no locks. Best I get myself one of these monster bolts and chain soon ....

Mine is in our house...dining room table, so I can enjoy my food while looking at my desert...and MTB is in the living area :P

just dropped by there an hour ago - nothing.

 

will try again later and tomorrow - probably just clutching at straws but it feels better than total inaction.
