Why bring "evil dutchmen" into the picture, I did not even know there was a rugby team called the "Bulls" in Holland!

Relax oomie - he was quoting me and the term was being used in the context of silly stereotypes...

I know I know, you should stop taking life so seriously, you are young man and should not be fraught with the encumbents of older people.

Not all black people are bike jackers.

Not all bike jackers are poor people.

Not all poor people resort to crime.

Agreed

Looking at the pics of the alleged bike jackers that were caught recently I can't seem to see that any of them appear to me suffering from malnutrition, ot that they committed these crimes because they were hungry.

Could greed not be a motivational factor as well?

YES

Not necessarily the greed associated with wanting the possesion of another, but the greed that stems from the fact that the majority of MTB riders are seen to be rich white people that can afford an expensive bike, and must therefore also ride with the latest smartphone and credit cards on them when they go out riding.

There we go stereo typing again

Good morning Guys and Girls,

So every morning I travel on Witkoppen rd between Leslie drive and Cedar rd. At about 7:20am every morning I see a man riding a Giant hard tail which in my mind cancnot afford to ride this bike...

Surely this bike must be stolen. It looks like a the Giant anthem x3 anthem. But its a hardtail

What should I do, It irritates me every morning....

you should be able to find the actual bike picture on the Giant website, look under archive.....

[/b]

I think what you should do is 1. Attach a photo of a Giant HARDTAIL, 2. Rid yourself of stereotyping before you post. and 3. Have the cojones to get out and speak to him.

Maybe this man, who "in your mind" cannot afford to ride this bike, has worked his arse off to do so, and rides it to work in rain or shine while you DRIVE to work in your "overpriced luxury car; which you can probably ill afford, with high fuel consumption to boot."

How's that for stereotyping? <_<

Actually I cant even respond to this, because what I typed and saw was two different things. I could have described it in much simpler way, but I didnt. The fact of the matter is.If you commenting on me being Sterotypical I would first look at yourself before accusing...

Not once did I mention race,or age.. It was all you buddy!!!

I am a concerned citizen who knows whats going on around us, when I see something which doesnt make sense I will question it.

Where better to ask about a stolen bike, but on the hub!!

what I will do tomorrow morning is take a photo of him on it!! Post the pic and lets see what everyone thinks?
