insurance question

if i have my bike on insurance and manage to break a component, frame, shock, what have you, obviously the smaller parts arent an issue, but the big $$$ parts, would they cover the replacement?

Generally, they will only cover breakages not relating to wear and tear. ie, if your carbon mtb frame cracks after 30 000km of hard riding, they may just put it down to wear and tear. If your carbon mtb frame cracks because you fell on to a rock, they should cover that

hahah not my seat post went down onto my shocks shaft while i was going at break neck speed down sani pass ,

its a bit of a crap design on mongoose's part . but it has been changed on their newer models.
