CAAD4 Posted August 17, 2011 Share Big selling brand in Europe. Local agents are really nice guys, also on the Hub (Darryl O, I think). Why not see if they can do you a good deal locally. Support a local Hubber.
bontie Posted August 17, 2011 Share They are quite popular in the UK, and they look great. Had a spin on an AMS120 a while ago and was truly impressed. There are agents in SA too, there is a shop in Centurion that posted here a while ago...

Eldron Posted August 17, 2011 Share Cube is known for making good quality cost effective bikes. Can't comment on that bikes specifically. Don't forget two things:1) Add about 40% onto the bike for import duty and VAT if you're considering buying it from CRC.2) There is a local Cube agent http://cube-bike.co.za/

Eldron Posted August 17, 2011 Share Que? - Complete bikes are 15% I brought in a Cube TT bike from CRC. 25% import duty and 14% VAT. That was about 18 months ago - not sure if the laws have changed since then or I was ripped off?
Guest Omega Man Posted August 17, 2011 Share I understood that there is a 25% duty on complete bikes.

Hi StevieL PM me if you would like to discuss anything in detail. We will be having a display at the Sunninghill Village (SPAR and SBR Sport)this Saturday from 9am till 1pm. EUROBIKE AWARDED CUBE:BEST HARDTAIL DESIGN AWARDBEST FULL SUSPNSION DESIGN AWARD Both these bikes will be on display as well as a range of others. Anyone who appreciates bicycles should come down and have a look. Otherwise feel free to contact one of our deals for more info. It is still cheaper most the time to buy locally and that excludesall the extra savings that people usually forget when shopping online.
