Thug Posted December 5, 2007 Share aah, good question. My personal preference would be an all round tyre with relatively wide spaced knobs something like a Kenda Karma that can also shed mud. If you have the money and don't mind changing tyres on a daily basis depending on the conditions then get a good mud tyre such as a Shwalbe (ask Shamus, I hear they work very well on hardpack at the 24 hr ) and also a good fast rolling tyre such as the Nobbly Nick or Crossmark.
