I went out and bought a groupset and wheels - still with a frame attached. Can anybody tell me what year model this Raleigh RC8000 frame is?

Those were pretty damn light bikes. A friend still has one.

Good bike I had one - very light frame - think the release date was 05 or 06

Its a 2006 model. I had one and as said above its a suprisingly good frame.

I'm still riding the 7800 groupset and a friend is still racing the frame.

Did you get it with the 7800 groupo?
