Well who can forget the doper Lance when he broke a frame on the tour de France?

 

Carbon always have that chance to let go, but so does Alu, Cr-Mo and steel. I have seen many broken High End bikes OEM versions that just snapped

talk about using a photo 'out of context' - anything could have happened to that bike, an elephant could have sat on it...

Is it not so that according to some experts on this here forum (cyclists and non cyclists) that all carbon frames are 'Chinese' anyway so why the fuss? They all 'made in the same factory' :rolleyes:
